A few weeks back I was the Sandburn Hall Wedding Photographer for Caroline & Mark. The venue is perfect for wedding photography. The day started off with some getting ready shots at the Griffon Forrest Lodges. Caroline & Mark got ready for the day in separate lodges so I nipped between them both to capture some shots of them getting ready with their groomsmen and bridesmaids. Caroline was really chilled and the atmosphere in the lodge was nice and calm. Mark and his groomsmen calmed their nerves with a few quick shots of Johnnie Walker.

The Ceremony was lovely, lots of emotion, tears, laughter and gorgeous light from the huge windows flooded over Caroline and Mark and all their guests. Sandburn Hall is a dream for a Wedding Photographer.

It was forecast heavy rain around the time we were doing a few group shots. So we made use of the other room with another lovely huge window.

After a tasty meal it was time for speeches. I can honestly say Mark's brothers speech was one of the funniest I've ever heard. The whole room were howling with laughter. He read a letter out the Mark had written to him when they were young, and then followed that up with a story about a toothbrush that I can't go in to on here.

Straight after the speeches the rain stopped and the sun came out , so everyone made their way outside to make the most of it. Everyone was in great spirit and as the day turned in to evening and more guests arrived the party really started. I love taking photos on the dance floor and getting right in to the action. There was certainly some amazing moves been pulled off and I loved capturing them all.

Here are a selection of photos from the day
